Just as we eat several times a day to nourish our bodies, we should also nourish our souls. There is different days that our soldiers meet to share the world of God and Pray to our mother. We believe, here in our ministry, we must have follow up days with our members in order to prepare, form, and live our lives as.

Youth

Youth Rosary

Meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary and interceding for the intentions of the world, teens learn how God intends for His children to live out their lives in Holiness with Him as their role model and inspiration.

Our greatest Spiritual Weapon - "The Rosary"

St. Louis de Montfort says the fastest way to get to the Heart of Jesus is through His Mother.  Totus Tuus (Totally Yours).

Feast of Our Lady of Fatima

Our Lady chose to spend the evening with us in our weekly youth Rosary.

She blesses us tremendously and gives us each a very special grace. Thank you Mother Mary for your loving care for us!

Bible Study

The youth are taught the truths of the Faith through reading and meditating on Sacred Scripture, the Catechism and Apologetics.  We study actual bible lessons such as Dr. Scott Hahn’s Journey through Scripture: Genesis to Jesus as well as reading the following Sunday’s Mass readings and Church approved Apologetics books.

We study so as to form 

The more we read the bible the more we can teach God's Word to others and extend His Kingdom!

Night

100 young men and women gathering together on a Friday night to hear about the wonders the Lord has done for them.  Not one of them disrespecting or disrupting during the 3 hour night. Only the Holy Spirit can accomplish this work in His children.  God is good!

Alabanzas Alabanzas Alabanzas

Alison and Sophie head up the night with some rocking alabanzas, spanish praise and worship, that lays the foundation for the rest of the Holy Spirit filled night!

Youth Ministry

Two higher ranking members are chosen to give talks based on the needs of the members at the time such as time management, relationships with parents, the sacraments, living the will of God, dating, choosing a college or career, making goals... always following our 52-week curriculum.

A new group of 30 young men and women gathering together on a Friday night to hear about the wonders the Lord has done for them. They began their S.O.M. Branch in Jan 2016, with determination to inspire the youth of Saint Barbara Catholic Church.

Our Founding Director Visits 

Founding Director, Sebastian, aka Sebas, Giving his famous talk on Inspirational Leadership. He encourages the youth to be the leaders of their generation.

Youth Mass 

Members are invited to worship together with the rest of the parish community in solidarity.  They also serve as ushers, altar servers, lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist and sacristan.

Mass is the Perfect Prayer

We worship the Lord in community!
